This website does not currently have an on-site data collection form. If you contact us by email to request a sample chapter or ask about licensing, we receive whatever information you choose to include in that email — typically your name, email address, company name, the audiobook title(s) you're interested in, and your estimated number of user licenses.
We use the information you send us to respond to your enquiry, send a free sample chapter, and scope and propose a licensing agreement. We do not sell your personal information.
Enquiries submitted through this site are sent directly to our email inbox via your own email client; we do not currently use a third-party form-processing service. We may use standard business tools (such as email, calendaring, and licensing/invoicing software) to follow up on your enquiry and manage an active license.
This website does not currently use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels.
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share information with service providers who help us operate our business, or if required to do so by law.
We retain email correspondence and licensing records for as long as necessary to respond to your enquiry and, if we proceed with a license together, for the duration of that license and as required for legitimate business or legal purposes thereafter (e.g., invoicing history).
If you are located in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) gives you the following rights over your personal data:
Legal basis for processing: we process the information you send us on the basis of your consent (by emailing us) and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries. Where we enter into a license agreement with you, processing necessary to perform that agreement is also a legal basis.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at gencounsel@ondemandaudiobooks.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), gives you the following rights:
Categories of personal information collected (in the past 12 months), per the categories defined by the CCPA: identifiers (name, email address) and commercial information you provide by email (company name, title(s) of interest, license quantity). We collect this directly from you.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at gencounsel@ondemandaudiobooks.com. We will verify your request using the information you provide and respond within the timeframe required by law. You may also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.
Our website and products are intended for business use and are not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We operate from the United States and may work with clients internationally. Information you send us may be processed and stored in the United States. If you are located in the EEA, UK, or another jurisdiction with data-transfer restrictions, transfers of your data to the U.S. will rely on an appropriate safeguard, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information you share with us. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
Questions about this Privacy Policy, or requests to exercise your privacy rights, can be sent to gencounsel@ondemandaudiobooks.com.
