By accessing this website or contacting us to license our audiobooks, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. These Terms apply to businesses and their authorized representatives ("you," "your"); our products are intended for business/organizational use, not individual consumer purchase.
OnDemandAudioBooks ("we," "us," "our") produces custom AudioBooks and AudioBook Series on any topic, in any format (including Single Narrator, Instructor-and-Learner, Host and Guests, and other interaction scenarios you specify), and separately licenses a catalog of existing compliance-training titles covering privacy, security, financial crime and ethics, and workplace/EHS topics. Topics, formats, languages, pricing, license terms, seat counts, and delivery timelines for any engagement are governed by a separate written agreement or order confirmed between you and us, which will control over these Terms in the event of a conflict.
We provide one complimentary full chapter per enquiry so you can evaluate a title before licensing. Sample chapters are provided for evaluation purposes only and may not be redistributed, rebroadcast, or used for training delivery without a license.
Our audiobooks are licensed on a per-user basis. No fees are charged, and no obligation is created, until both parties agree to license terms, seat count, and pricing in writing. Licenses are non-transferable and limited to the number of users agreed at the time of purchase, unless expanded by a subsequent agreement.
All audiobook content, scripts, audio recordings, website copy, and the OnDemandAudioBooks name and logo are owned by us or our licensors. Licensing an audiobook grants your organization the right to make it available to your licensed users for internal training purposes only — it does not grant ownership, and does not permit copying, resale, public distribution, or use of the content to train any AI/ML model, absent a separate written agreement. For custom-commissioned AudioBooks, ownership and license terms (including whether you receive a license to use the content or an assignment of ownership) will be specified in your project order; absent a specific term to the contrary, custom AudioBooks are licensed to you on the same basis as our catalog titles.
Our audiobooks are educational training aids. They are not legal advice, and completion of a course does not by itself guarantee your organization's compliance with any law, regulation, or standard. Regulatory requirements vary by jurisdiction and change over time; you are responsible for confirming your organization's specific obligations with qualified counsel and for maintaining any additional training, policies, or controls your compliance program requires.
Information you share with us to scope a licensing engagement — such as workforce size, internal policies, or rollout plans — will be treated as confidential and used solely to support your engagement, unless a separate mutual NDA specifies otherwise.
Our content and website are provided "as is." We do not guarantee that any specific training outcome, certification, or audit result will follow from use of our audiobooks.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, OnDemandAudioBooks will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our website, content, or licenses. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us for the specific license giving rise to the claim in the preceding twelve (12) months.
We may suspend or discontinue access to our website at our discretion, including in cases of misuse. Termination of any specific license is governed by that license's agreement.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless otherwise specified in a license-specific agreement.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
